Don't forget to pop in and say "Hello!" this weekend...

Looking back on Movember...

As well as donating and supporting the marvellous Mo Brothers I know, I have been doing my upmost to help out as a Mo Sista again this year.

Every day in Movember I've posted a picture related to the marvellous moustache and this is what the month looked like... hope you enjoy the snaps! It was mighty fun doing them and I shall almost miss the challenge of finding something new each day to share...

Thank you to everyone who donated pictures to me and a HUGE THANK YOU to every one of you out their who has done their bit for Movember to help raise awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

New arrivals at Sunshine Towers! ☀

I'd like to introduce you to the two shiny new arrivals at Sunshine Towers...

This is Pegs...

...and this is Toby...

Together they are the new little loves in my life, and also confirmation that my crazy cat lady days have begun! I've always been a cat person (I'm a huge animal person in general to be fair!) and since my childhood kitties, Carbonel and Calico, left us years ago it's something I always knew I'd do when I had my own place.

Seriously though how can you not be head over heels in love with faces as cute as these...

If you're wondering where the names came from they have stemmed from my childhood love of a series of books, which were also a TV series called Puddle Lane. Anyone remember this?

In it there was a dragon called Toby and in the stories that the magician used to tell Toby and his friends were cats, a Mum and two kittens. The Mum was called Pegs and was a tabby cat and the kittens were called Tim and Tessa Catchamouse. Makes sense now... yes? No? Oh well...

On a final note, I will try not to spam my blog, facebook, twitter and instagram feeds too much with kitty pictures but I can't promise as I am too excited about having these guys around now!

Have a great weekend!

Remember remember the month of Movember!

As the magnificent month of Movember is once again upon us and seeing as I still can’t (thankfully!) grow my own Mo’ I will be showing my support and raising awareness in my own way. As well as donating and supporting the marvellous Mo Brothers I know, I will be doing my upmost to help out as a Mo Sista again.

But what am I doing I hear you say? Well... to do my bit and make up for a lack of real facial hair I will be donning and sharing moustaches in lots of various fun ways throughout Movember.
So far the month is looking like this...

1st of Movember: Is that the time? I really moustache!

2nd of Movember: Multiple Mo's and a manic smile (it was 6am!)

I shall be sure to keep you updated throughout the month but in the mean time I'd love to know what you'll be doing! Maybe you're growing a Mo? Maybe you're running a Movember team? Maybe, like me you just love a good moustache and are spreading the news in another way as a Mo Sista? Whatever it may be... I'd love to know how you are helping support such a fabulous cause!

Don't forget to visit the Movember webiste to show your support and check out the fabulous array facial hair and activities going on!

Here's wishing you all a Mo'st excellent Friday!
